Video1. After watching video number one, I got excited from the first few munites after watching it. The whole idea of being knowledgable on how to prevent heart disease, diabetes and reducing blood pressure, is definitely something I am interested in knowing because my mom struggled with all that pretty much most of her life. The great thing I've learned about eating food high in fiber is that it holds a lot of water and it tricks your brain by giving you that feeling of fullness. I was surprised by the fact how much calories were in just 1 cup of butter comparing to all of the other ingredients. Learning from the video and the book, 1g of carbs has 4 kcal while 1g of fat has 9kcal. In other words, by skipping fatty foods I can prevent future diseases and it would be easier to lose weight if I have to.
